Charles Newman is CEO of Resource and has been writing in the field of resource sustainability for over ten years. After five years of research and teaching at the University of Bristol, Charles joined Resource in 2001 as an Editorial Assistant. He has worked as Editor for The Waste Paper and Material Matters, and is currently Editor in Chief of Resource, alongside his responsibilities as the company's Chief Executive Officer. His professional interests are environmental economics, zero waste and the psychology of recycling.

Becky joined Resource Media in April 2016 to work on strategy and operations. She became Managing Director in April 2023 and now leads on business strategy, client services and project management. Becky has over 15 years’ of experience in digital marketing and has worked at global brands such as Google and the BBC. Becky came to Resource Media from Zone Digital (2016 Agency of the Year), where she led teams delivering creative digital solutions for clients including Lloyds Banking Group, Tesco, and Coca-Cola. 

 
Bella Zanin

Editorial Assistant

As an Editorial Assistant at Resource Media, Bella writes and edits news and feature articles for our various environmental publications. Bella holds an MSc in Sustainable Development and a BSc in Psychology, with specialisation in environmental psychology and misinformation. She has several years of experience in environmental communications and advocacy, having worked on issues ranging from climate change to ocean conservation to eco-anxiety. Before joining the Resource team, Bella helped to implement chemicals and waste policy at the United Nations Environment Programme in Geneva, Switzerland. Bella’s professional interests include environmental justice, environmental policy and sustainable behaviour change.

Chloe has 15 years of commercial experience designing and developing websites, and joined Resource in 2009. She has extensive knowledge of Drupal (and has built sites with iterations of the platform from Drupal 5 - Drupal 10). She has a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Iowa (2006).
