One Click LCA and Recolight collaborate on carbon transparency tools
The partnership offers software and guidance for lighting manufacturers to meet sustainability demands.
One Click LCA, a provider of life-cycle assessment (LCA) and environmental product declaration (EPD) software, is partnering with Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) compliance scheme Recolight to provide its members and other industry stakeholders with access to sustainability-focused software.
The collaboration offers an automated process for creating LCAs and EPDs, enabling lighting manufacturers to better assess the carbon impact of their products. The EDPs will help showcase the products’ environmental performance.
Through the use of One Click LCA’s technology, manufacturers will be able to meet customer demand for sustainable measures and satisfy increasing client requirements for achieving green certifications like BREEAM, LEED, and Net Zero.
Recolight and One Click LCA are also providing industry guidance for companies aiming to cut through the complexity of environmental metrics.

The collaboration follows the launch of One Click LCA’s Luminaires EPD Generator, a tool designed to streamline the creation of EPDs for lighting products.
