Fairport Containers celebrates 25th anniversary
The UK’s leading waste container refurbisher, Fairport Containers Ltd, has reached a significant milestone, celebrating 25 years of business. During this time, the company has grown from the dreams of its founder and chairman Andrew Porter into a thriving business with three locations nationwide.
As part of these celebrations, Fairport Containers will be hosting a grand opening on 22 and 23 May at its newest site in Bridgwater, Somerset, which is the largest of its kind in the UK.
Boosted by over £1 million of investment, this site is fully operational and equipped to provide full waste container repair and refurbishment, container management, logistical and storage services to both regional and national companies.
This expansion has been made possible thanks to the continued growth and success of Fairport over the past 25 years, enabling the company to deliver much-needed support to existing waste and recycling companies with operations in the South West region.
Andrew Porter commented: “It gives me great pride in joining our employees, clients and business partners to celebrate our 25th anniversary by opening our Bridgwater facility. Our grand opening will be an opportunity to showcase our new site, whilst celebrating with those who made it all possible. We have come a long way since the business started in 1993 and I am confident about our future as the company continues to thrive through this difficult economic climate. I look forward to celebrating the next 25 years.”
