Recycling and waste management company Casepak has been awarded a contract by Leicestershire County Council to handle and process up to 64,000 tonnes of dry mixed recyclables.
The Leicester-based firm was awarded the contract to process the county’s dry mixed recyclables after the contract was put out to tender following the council’s decision to pass the ‘Dry Recycling Credit Saving Strategy’, which seeks to reduce the council’s expenditure on recycling credits.
