Known for its Dolav Ace pallet boxes, Dolav UK will be presenting its new hygienic Dolav DFLC – a recycling box that stacks, tips, folds and holds 750kg and 600 litres – at RWM 2017.

Dolav Ace plastic pallet boxes are durable, having been abuse tested by sustainability certification body TÜV SÜD, and have always been recyclable. When they are no longer needed, they are ground down into pellets and turned into wheelie bins. These are then used for decades in domestic waste recycling.

Dolav Ace plastic pallet boxes are a one-piece moulding with integral runners, and are so sturdy that they are even used by lead-acid battery recyclers, with Recobat attesting that Dolav Ace boxes ‘last three times longer than others’ and social waste firm Recycling Lives stating that the ‘fixed runners don’t come off’.

The Ace has been hygienically designed and uses virgin, FDA-approved, food-quality HDPE and is easy to clean to meet food hygiene demands for handling and recycling by-products and waste in food production facilities.

Dolav UK stocks the Ace and lids in nine different colours, while customers can get local on-box printing and other additions such as drain taps, castors, hinges and locks.

Supermarket chain Aldi uses Dolav plastic pellet boxes in its collection of food waste, with an Aldi spokesperson speaking positively about Dolav’s product, stating: "As a responsible retailer, we are always looking for ways to continue to be environmentally friendly.

“The Dolav boxes are solid and do not leak, they are very easy to wash and keep clean. They are robust - the modular one-piece moulding design means they don't break and the pallet size fits our systems."

The Dolav DFLC will be on display on stand no. 5N92 at RWM 2017
